Before Saturday's Pi Day of the Century celebration, the 7th and 8th graders explored pi in their classroom studies. They examined pi from many angles, both conventional and creative. From a pi day scavenger hunt to writing songs, raps, and poems about pi, the junior high students had fun learning the meaning behind this mathematical constant. And of course, they ate some pie, too.
