Catholic Schools Week Opening Day

We started Catholic Schools Week with an all school prayer service, emphasizing faith, service, and knowledge.  Teachers from every grade level from Pre-K to 8 participated in the opening prayer to kick off our week of celebration and activities.

Later in the afternoon, we had a visit from Lilly and her owner Gerry Wade from the Humane Society. Mr. Wade talked to students in grades K-8 about what the Humane Society does, how to be a responsible pet owner, and how to stay safe around dogs.

A big thank you to Mrs. McCubbins for arranging this event and to 8th graders Jack S. and Vincent L. for taking care of all the technology needed for the presentation.
