Plant and Animal Cells

The fourth graders working diligently on their cells.

In science, the fourth graders learned about the structures and functions of an animal and plant cell.  They made a model of the cell using clay and incorporated various items to represent the structures of the cell.  The students enjoyed this hands-on lesson and learned a great deal about cells while doing this project.
